So my mom’s younger sister has a friend who is the younger brother to Viola’s mother.
Chinese adults have a big culture of inviting people over to eat/drink and that’s how our families heard of each other. Before coming to Shanghai her uncle exchanged our contact information. Worked out nicely too since she’s a senior art student! We checked out M50 along with the gallery her school is in charge of. Takashi Murakami held his exhibition here so I was super excited!! It was sweet getting an authentic tour of Shanghai from an artist! Thanks Viola for taking me out!!
