Halloween = 万圣节 Wànshèngjié
Halloween isn’t a big deal here so I couldn’t find any other costume. Every once in a while I see these kids walk around the city and I guess they inspired my costume- to be a Chinese Primary School student.
Someone told me that the red scarf/bandana is supposed to symbolize some sort of excellence. It’s designed to make all students not wearing one study harder so that they can fit in. Messed up right?
