Goal: Get my Chinese name carved on a stone stamp

Now I feel official! HAHA. I found a 2 in 1 stone stamp down some alley in TunXi. They don’t make’em like this anymore! This lady was too old to carve into it and the stamp was covered in a ton of dust so she sold it to me for just 80rmb. Felt like a lot until all of the other stores said it’s worth well over 300rmb! Hehe

I’ll be sure to put it to good use.

I had a mini revelation in Calligraphy Class today. The past few classes have been pretty dry trying to find the peace in perfecting brush strokes. Today on the other hand was kinda soothing.  Maybe if I have one of these legit brush sets I’ll paint better…
