At the bottom of Yellow Mountain is a village area called AnHui/Tunxi. It’s well known for its preserved architecture, antiques and artist! Walking down the streets you get a good feelings of what the culture is like- talking to the shop owners/artist, bargaining, drinking tea and going through tons of antiques!
I guess I have a newfound passion for antiquing! I bought some pretty random-ass things that I thought were interesting…A teapot in the shape of a peach. There’s no lid but it was designed years ago for you to add water from the bottom and then flip upside down! Come visit me next year and I’ll pour ya some tea!
